LoRa-Comms provides information about, and access to, off-grid LoRa mesh communication equipment and networks, including a commercial rental/event booking service and a route/coverage planning tool. Actual equipment rental, installation, and support are subject to a separate agreement made directly with us at the time of booking.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. Accounts are assigned a role (member, admin, head admin, or founder) that determines what you can see and do on the site. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these terms or for security reasons.
The Event & Route Planner, including any coverage or node-count estimate, is a planning aid based on simplified assumptions about terrain and radio propagation. It is not a guarantee of network coverage, signal reliability, or safety, and it is not a substitute for proper trip planning, professional Search & Rescue coordination, or official emergency services. Always carry appropriate backup communication and safety equipment, and never rely solely on this tool or on mesh network coverage in a genuine emergency.
You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to bypass account role restrictions, submitting false information through our forms, or using the site to send spam or malicious content.
The LoRa-Comms name, logo, and site content are our property or used under licence. You may not reproduce or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without our permission.
This site uses third-party services (including Supabase, Netlify, and mapping providers) and may link to third-party sites. We aren't responsible for the content, availability, or practices of services or sites we don't control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoRa-Comms is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or its planning tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
